Councilmember Todd serves as Chair of the Committee on Government Operations

The Committee on Government Operations is responsible for overseeing the executive, administrative, and operational functions of the government. The Committee also oversees a wide array of offices that advocate for the diverse population of the District of Columbia. It works to ensure accountability and wise use of taxpayer dollars across all the offices and agencies under its purview.

Councilmember Todd also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Washington Metropolitan Air Quality Committee and a member of the National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board. He also sits on the National Conference of State Legislatures’ (NCSL) Military and Veterans Affairs Task Force.

Anyone wishing to testify before the Committee is asked to email or call (202) 724-6663.

The Committee will attempt to accommodate all requests for special accommodations and oral interpretation. Those representing organizations will have five minutes to present their testimony, and individuals will have three minutes to present their testimony; less time will be allowed if there are a large number of witnesses.
